This year’s theme for International Day of Peace “Climate Action for Peace” draws attention to the importance of combatting climate change as a way to protect and promote peace throughout the world.

Myself and Bah Mohamed Tejan volunteered to clean up the coast of Goderich Beach; after having realised through reports that plastic also accelerate global warming.
Peace can only be achieved if concrete action is taken to combat climate change, and stopping climate change also means curbing plastic.
